PAINTINGS, DRAWINGS POSTCARD (pdf) In the series "My Nomads" there are different approaches on nomadic phenomena. The series is composed of naturalistic oil paintings which are positioned beside "pop-art-byzantic" ones (sketches done in Armenia). In the naturalistic ones my heroes are disillusioned: a woman who holds a baby in her arms, but on the other hand she seems absent, looking at something very far away. Two men standing in front of the yurts in the winter landscape, posing for the photo. These naturalistic, monochrome-like paintings are positioned with very colourful ones where the form is not necesserily an obvious reminder of the yurt, it could be also something else. It is painted against a golden foil background, so the contour is very strong but also shallow. "My Nomads" series consist of oil paintings, drawings, sketches, plaster reliefs and is in continuation.
